The first room I had was dirty bathroom had used old soap floor had hair over it and no microwave when I specifically booked one that did then was told they don’t know which rooms have microwaves they are scattered so to come downstairs and warm food up if need be when all the way on the third floor then moved me to the second floor to another room with hair all over the bathroom floor and carpet dirty along with the used looking towels then proceeded to move me to the room across the hall with an broken bar in the shower the shower has no sliding or closing doors so had to ask doe multiple sets of towels because the floor got soaked from every shower taken mind you the floor still had previous people hair on it so I had to clean that and the shower by myself and wipe everything down because it was dusty asf in there the only good thing was the tv cause it had Bluetooth and Netflix and prime and the two black men with dreads was extremely helpful and nice also looked like they was tired like this wasn’t the first complaint I can tell you it won’t be the last they need to improve housekeeping because that was just ridiculous overall I won’t be staying there again and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else that’s just me experience it for yourself if you want .

We always overnight in the Minneapolis Metro area one our way east for family vacations. We’ve stayed at many different hotels in the area, and this one ranks right at the top. Clean and modern, quiet, close to amenities and a great price. We will be staying here again when passing through.

Hotel is well kept up. Folks checking in were nice. The bartender near the lobby may be the most unprofessional person that I’ve ever encountered. He made a large group of families gathered in the patio feel extremely unwelcome with snarky and rude comments. We certainly won’t be back to this hotel both for group travel nor personal.

Working in Healthcare is extremely stressful, so I planned a special relaxing hotel getaway and chose Courtyard after speaking to several agents from hotels in the area. I have a disability and needed to verify my needs could be met. I was assured a bathtub and microwave would be in my room and breakfast was included. Upon arrival,I saw nothing of what I needed in my room. I was moved to a room with a tub on my second night, but both rooms were filthy with sticky cup stains, spilled and dried beverages and discarded snack bags and other garbage under the beds. The elevator malfunctioned on day one, and I was stuck in my room until my second day. It took several tries to get anyone to answer the front desk phone. When I finally reached someone, they were kind enough to bring me a croissant and juice until the elevator was fixed, bless them. Some of the staff was nice, but others downright rude. Someone at the Bistro suggested that if I wanted free breakfast, I could 'cross the street' to the neighboring hotel to eat. The bottle of wine I purchased at the Bistro was amazing, and the king bed very soft and comfortable, but there were issues with the TV not getting signal intermittently. I was not offered anything complimentary for the mishaps, which would have improved my review. Things like elevator breakdowns can happen that aren't employees' fault- but I felt no one cared about assisting a disabled guest in need. I will be avoiding the Courtyard in the future.

(Almost) everything I need in a business hotel: quiet, clean, comfortable bed and place to sit besides on the bed. If it matters for your stay, you should know that there is no free breakfast and no lobby coffee. There is a bistro/bar and Starbucks with food beverages for sale. There is an ample (very hot water / steam) in-room coffee machine. I used it to make additional instant coffee during my stay. No in-room microwave in my room, but I had ready access to one in the little market area off the lobby if needed. Functional, clean mini-fridge in-room. Ample bulk bottles on the shower wall for soap and hair product. Very clean, spacious with minimalist decor. My only comment, because this was a business stay, is that an "upgrade" is required for faster internet....in 2023. Would absolutely stay again. As far as issues with hotel cleanliness, I think people really need to adjust their expectation (and entitlement) to the reality of worker shortage right now. Maybe Marriott could offer some wage incentives to attract and keep service staff.

If you are a minority stay completely away from this hotel! I am a Titanium member who’s spent thousands of dollars with Marriott and I’ve had one of the worst experiences of my life at this hotel. On 1/30/2023 a staff member from the hotel called the police on me and claimed that I stole a pot pie out of the snack area. Three police cars pulled up behind me snatched me out the car and made a big scene just to find out after the fact that I had never stolen anything. I feel completely disrespected, disgusted, and stereotyped by this hotel. I proceeded to try to speak with the female general manager in the morning and she gave me a attitude as if I had done something wrong. She had no sympathy or understanding for the situation that her employee put me in. It’s obvious she doesn’t hold her workers accountable for their actions and could care less about the well being of her guest. This was completely unacceptable & something has to be done about this.

I stayed here one night at the new style Courtyard. It's a nice upgrade from the older style ones. I stayed at a lot of them being a Marriott lifetime gold member who lost his platinum status due to the pandemic. The room designed is fresh, the color are pleasing. The check in was smooth as silk and it's located in a development that has lots of dining places a short walk away without having to cross any busy roads. The shower was huge, hot, great water pressure and the shower head was mounted high. That being said I do have a few nits to pick. There was a laminated note in the room explaining that rooms are only serviced every three days on REQUEST. No hot breakfast, but I don't think that is a great loss. I've grown tired of the offerings. The toilet paper roll holder was broken and the roll fell off easily. There was also no plastic laundry bag in the closet. I usually pack one for my dirty clothes, but it's nice to have one available if needed. For a newer property I was disappointed they didn't have shampoo and soap dispensers in the shower to cut back on the use of small plastic disposable bottled.
